Pastor Anthony delivered a check, today, to Tammie Newcomer, VISD Child Nutrition Director, erasing the total cafeteria debt for students at McCord Elementary. This was made possible through our congregation's dedication to supporting Noisy Offerings. Noisy Offering is a new two-fold Ministry that is raising money to erase school lunch debt in Vernon ISD, one school at a time. The 2nd part is to fund a Rainbow Room for Child Protective Services to have access to items needed when a child is removed from a home. Thank you FUMC for stepping up to help families in Vernon.

Some of our Cooks and Servers having fun on Wednesday Night at Mission Kitchen. We Believe: -‚Äč Only after one’s body and soul is nourished, can they begin to look to the future for change and a path forward - One hungry person is too many; no one is turned away -All guests should be treated with dignity and respect - Sharing a meal is the cornerstone of community and hope - People hunger for food AND belonging - Fellowship and food are fundamental to life and community - A caring community with no judgment, creates the condition for change.
